Pradeep Wahule, IFS
Mr. Pradeep Wahule is a 2009 Batch Officer of the Indian Forest Service and belongs to the Joint AGMUT Cadre.
He is a -post-graduate in Zoology with a specialization in Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology from the Institute of Science, Mumbai and has also qualified for CSIR UGC NET with a Junior Research Fellowship.
He had joined as Assistant Professor in 2003 teaching the subject of Zoology for six years for undergraduate and post-graduate courses, Mumbai University. He has also been a faculty teaching the subject of photography as an art form to the students of Bachelor of Mass Media, Mumbai University for the same period.
After passing out from the Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun in 2011, he was posted at Arunachal Pradesh. He worked as Divisional Forest Officer, Tawang. Later he was posted as Deputy Conservator of Forests, Union Territory of Daman & Diu where he also held additional charge of Principal, Diu Government College, Diu. He joined Central Academy for State Forest Service, Dehradun as a part of his assignment of Central Deputation to the Government of India in November 2016. He was a Course Director for the 2017-19 SFS Induction Course.
He is a professional artist and has held several exhibitions of his works which essentially depict the rich heritage & culture of India and also the modern aspects of fine arts.
He is currently staying in Dehradun on a beautiful campus of the Forest Research Institute along with his wife Rashmi and their little boys Abhay and Amit.
